Lyon process book

In the »Type]Media« course at the Royal Academy in The Hague, Kai developed the Lyon tyefaces, and we made this book to show its process, in a very raw and direct way.

The title of the book, »Pictures of things, not pictures of pictures of things«, is derived from the dictum of type designer, stone carver and calligrapher Eric Gill: »Letters are things, not pictures of things«; in the case of this book, the printed letters have again been photographed.
